NYPD in The Hague

I spotted those Smart cars in a Smart dealer in The Hague today and was wondering whether they actually were real cars or just an ad to promote the brand... as the Smart car was launched in the US not so long ago (see here).

This is a new way of advertising for a boring product, ie carpets and other floor protections! Wouldn't you love to drive around in this sexy covered in synthetic carpet car? I guess it's also comfortable to sit on it.... on the hood!

Have you ever been so proud of your wedding day to have a go and paint your car to spread the word? Probably they are thinking of painting their car black afterwards, or is this the result of a "nice" joke from "good" friends?

First time I see this American school bus parked in one of the main shopping streets of the city. I find the setting quite funny, but still wonder how many people will step on the bus for this kind of journey. If you fancy it, the bus is also available for rent for wedding parties (!)) and other events (see their website).

If the main objective of the Foundation Saved is to proclaim the Word of Jesus Christ, they also want to warn people against the dangers of drugs, alcohol en (house)music, a much more pragmatic approach to religion...

I just liked the old car parked in front of an Italian icecream-maker. I'm so bad in cars... Can anybody tell me which brand this is and from which year?

Tuk Tuk invasion

Since 1 June 2007, this is not an uncommon view in The Hague! Tuk tuks have been competing with trams and taxis to get a share of the commuting transport in the city!! Rather fun. I even spotted a "Just married" white one last week racing through the centre!
