Low tide

It was still nice weather on the beach yesterday to walk when the water was low. I can't wait for the new summer season to start. Beach places are allowed to start building their pavilions as from March 3rd, and it is in the news today that meteorologists expect one of the hottest summers ever in The Netherlands this year... Forget the French Riviera, and plan your summer holidays in The Hague!!!!

If you want to read more about climate expectations for The Netherlands, just read the new "State of the Climate 2007 (in Dutch)" that was published today.

Hi

Last summer was one of the hottest they said, but for me it didn't feel like that. Did you?
Nice picture and let's hope for a good summer.
About my macro, I use a Canon A710IS, a normal compact camera and sometimes I use a macro converter but most times not.

That'd be the day!

Love that photo. The kids make it perfect. :)

Is that really true? I have missed the news for the last couple of days. Please, please, tell me we will have a decent summer this year (instead of a bloody hot april and that was it like last year :))

It gives me a calming effect when looking at this pix.

The foreground sand with the marks left by the receding waves is beautiful! Great composition to put the 2 person at the corner!
