The Electricity fabric (2)

Do you remember this post? Yesterday I found out what the renovation project looks like, it is currently presented in the Town Hall. This project is not definitive yet, and anybody can still propose his own ideas on. It is expected that the area has the potential to grow into a creative and cultural breeding ground, with studios and workshops for artists and creative enterprises.

This project is part of the new "Spatial Development Strategy" of the Hague that focuses on the theme of The Hague as an international city (Global City by the Sea is the motto of the Council House).

It looks very inviting. Like the motto, too. The outdoor escalators caught my attention, maybe that's the only element of this rendition that I find a bit awkward.

Conversions for the bread recipe:

3 cups all-purpose or bread flour (375 g)
12 oz of water (354 ml)
1/4 teaspoon dry instant yeast (0.8 g)
1 1/2 teaspoons salt (10 g)

Oven to 450 degrees (240º C)

Have fun making bread. :)

Looks like a cool complex, I hope it comes to fruition!

Today's post answers your question about how many expats. And thanks for your comments on the Italy photos. We had a great time there (except for transavia screwups on the way home), and did indeed sip limoncello on the coast. Unfortunately I'm still having nightmares about the driving!

I'm curious about the final drawing of this project. Having agreed on the project, it may take some years afterwards to achieve it, due to all the public consultations that are always needed.....Thanks for commenting!
