The lion and the mouse


I love this photo and the story that goes with it. Walking along the beach Boulevard in Scheveningen, you can admire 23 statues from Tom Otterness that describes 23 fairy tales. If you do not remember that one, just click here. On another occasion, I'll show you more of those pictures.

I can't see it really well but question" is sthis statue from sand or steel" I don't know it yet , and I should have seen it though, where is it standing in Scheveningen"

Joann, those statues are in bronze. They are standing in front of the museum Beelden aan Zee on Scheveningen boulevard which opened in 1994, 200m from the Kurhaus hotel. The "fairy tale" statues were commissionned in 2004.
