Month theme : "No...." sign

I wanted to post this sign for a while already, so when I got July month theme I knew exactly what I had to post!!! This dog sign stands in my street, chained to a tree! This is the only one of its kinds I found so far. I praised the person who had the clever idea to design it. My kids love it as well, as every time we walk by (and that is quite often), they feel obliged to explain again and again what it is meant for!!!!!

172 city blogs around the world are participating in this month's theme, and I'm very curious to get to discover other "no" signs!!!!

Cute sign, even if it is a no to dogs.

Hah! Whoever made that sign is selling them around the world! See http://cincinnatidailyphoto.blogspot.com/2008/05/bad-dog.html

It isn't July 1 here yet, but I'll give you a hint. My sign involves giraffes.

Sometimes I don't, sometimes I do said...

Very original. And I can imagine your children spinning yarns around it!

It certainly is a graphic sign for dogs - but can they comprehend. And does it let their walkers off the hook of cleaning up after them?

A good choice for the Theme day ...

Hi Lezard,

The bees are back in Brookville, Ohio. I hope for the rest of the year at least. I even got one on my Better Blog Writing post today. LOL

I see you found an adorable No sign. I used to carry a paper bag and a pancake turner to pick it up and store it until I got back home.

Isn't it almost funny to think of adult people scurrying around their communities taking pictures of signs. And if somebody had asked what that is all about and you said a sign with "no" on it, they might... well. It is kind of funny.

Cute sign even if it is a bit anti-dog! Great choice for theme day :)

That is a hilarious sign. I imagine my kids would get a kick out of it too!

Vienna could use some signs like these. When I lived there--18 years ago, maybe things are different now?--people would let their dogs crap on the sidewalk and would leave it there. We called them "sliders" because if you stepped in one on accident, you were sure to slide!

Happy Theme Day!

A nice find! And I do remember how my kids loved to be said the same story again and again! Now, they tell me "Stop! You've already said that a million of times!" ;-)

I've seen one very similar on another theme day blog but can't remember which one

Your comments were very instructive! I did not know this sign already existed in other part of the worls! That's the great thing about DPD!!! Thanks for popping by.
