31st May was the "Day of the building sector" in The Netherlands, and a certain number of works were open to the public. This was the case of the Hubertus Tunnel, a 1600m long tunnel which is going under the Hague and should be inaugurated next September. 3400 people walked into the tunnel that day. It was quite impressive to see!

I really like that photo. That's a long tunnel. What are the connecting points?
I have found this page with some info: http://www.denhaag.nl/smartsite.html?id=35952
Very cool shot!
Thank you, Andre. It looks like the tunnel has two exits only. That's a long walk underground... Not sure I'd like to take that route too often.
A very nice shot. I like the lighting in the tunnel.
@Fénix - Bostonscapes: I'm sure it will become a tunnel for cars. This special opening was the only time the public is allowed to walk there.
Thanks all for your comment. I just realised that my Hyperlink that explains the whole project did not show up on my post, and just corrected it.

It is a long car tunnel, with an expected maximum speed of 50 km/hour.
Total costs for the projects are reaching the €150 million.....A lot of money!
I bet it was impressive, it certainly looks like that from the picture!
