If you live in Europe, you probably know the story of the "Puss in Boots". As a child, I could read the fairy tales from Charles Perrault or the Grimm brothers for hours. I wonder whether those fairy tales have also found their way to America and Asia... Among my favorites: Little Red Riding Hood, Bluebeard, Cinderella.
The photo shows one of the many statues you can find in Westbroekpark, here a bronze from Johan Keller. Isn't it very elegant?

The fairy tales have certainly found their way to Pakistan, have read or listened to all those a long time ago. Really nice shot.
Nice statue!
Certainly is elegant. I had never really thought about what puss in boots would look like; now I know!
As puss is in the shrek movies, i guess americans must have heard about it
I never knew that it was there, will have to go and check it out some time soon :)
OH yes, we have all grown up with those stories here in America. They have been told to children here for generations.
It's nice see that statue. Thanks for posting it.
The stories were brought over with those who immigrated to America. We grew up with them, and believed in the "happilly ever after" endings.
