Piling up

I liked the colours of this pile of wooden pallets in the fish harbour of Scheveningen, reference to the tons of fish and shrimps sold here everyday. As a link to yesterday's post, you can watch here (in Dutch) a 10mn film from 1941 over the fishing activity in the Northsea.

Hi Lezard,
Great I love those pallets reminds me of the harbors in Scheveningen, and Kijkduib, the fishingboats came in and those pallets where emptied. Welldone.

BTW Ios and I came home safe, she is crying (peeppeep), from Narcose I think but she's doing OK now.

Have great weekend!

Very nice composition. Could be an artwork !

Tons of fish and shrimps? Don't you have fishing quotas in the Netherlands? We hear enough about it in France ! LOL

Lezard, I think you missed the question I left for you a couple of days ago. I was asking if your husband would be staying in Boston proper (meaning in the city itself). You asked today, on my blog, about dodgy areas in Boston. Well, Roxbury, the neighborhood I am currently featuring and the two previous ones (Dorchester and Mattapan) are the only really dangerous places in Boston.

I doubt your husband will get to see either one because they are relatively far from the mid and downtown areas.

Downtown Boston, even at night, is very safe and so are the neighborhoods surrounding it.

Are you making bread this weekend? :)
