Fancy a haring?

Typical Dutch!! Those stands outside the Binnenhof are not only for tourists (though as you can see on the picture some Japanese are having fun in making some photos of them). Many regular Dutch people enjoy having a "broodje haring" for lunch (one sweet herring with onion and cucumber in a piece of white bread).

The broodje haring sounds delicious to me. I love to eat sardines in mustard.

I've stood outside this stand many times, trying to get a discreet pic of someone swallowing a haring. Still haven't succeeded. Nice pic.

Oldmanlincoln, I never tried a herring with mustard, but will suggest it to my husband!

R&R, I must say I actually had not zoomed carefully on my pic before, but if you look just on the small stand, the japanese girls are actually shooting at their Japanese friend swallowing a herring!!!! Lucky me!
